I have a patient hospitalized yesterday after a road accident has suffered a fracture dislocation with unilateral C6-C7 facet joint on the left. The CT scan shows unilateral facet fracture C6-C7 left and the sagittal to the same level showing the anterior dislocation of the articular segment fields concerned by the fracture. This is a serious injury unstable cervical spine requiring surgical treatment. I requested an MRI and I have placed a cervical traction cervical awaiting surgery that is necessary in order to reduce the dislocation of cervical spine and restore stability. I just did not show the intervention to control post-operatively.
